ニュージャージー出身の女性SSW。09年、中尾憲太郎（ex-NUMBER GIRL、CRYPT CITY）監修のコンピ『kill your T.V.09』に参加、FUJI ROCK FESTIVALにも出演。7年ぶりとなる本作は、これまでにティーンエイジ・ファンクラブ、ベル＆セバスチャンなどを手がけてきたデイヴィッド・ノートンによるプロデュース。バンド・メンバーである岸田佳也（トクマルシューゴ他）、堀越武志（ex-OCEANLANE）、Minminはもちろん、世界中からゲストが参加し、ケイトの世界を彩る。その中心にあるのはケイトの甘くて優しい、そして芯のある唄声。共演したリズ・フェアをはじめとするUSインディー歌姫の系譜、カメラ・オブスキュラなどタイムレスなグラスゴーの香りを、東京から世界に向けて発信する稀有な存在である。
